Margo Lanagan’s Singing My Sister Down

Margo Lanagan is the author of several highly unique and eerie short story collections. Her newest, Red Spikes, will be out in the US this October. And I’ve just learned from blog of a bookslut that the amazing “Singing My Sister Down” from her deservedly many-times-over-honored Black Juice is available to read here. If you are unfamiliar with her work (Shirley Jackson‘s “The Lottery” comes to mind), this story is a great starting point.
