Remembering Harry: He’s Not Dead Yet?

Says Rowling in Time Magazine: “If, and it’s a big if, I ever write an eighth book about the [wizarding ] world, I doubt that Harry would be the central character,” she says. “I feel like I’ve already told his story. But these are big ifs. Let’s give it 10 years and see how we feel then.”

  1. I hope she doesn’t write an eighth book.

  2. I too hope not. But she seems very proprietary about her world and unable to keep telling everyone more, more, and more about it.

If she does she is no Conan Doyle who most reluctantly revived Holmes.

  3. Why won’t she just let this be over? Considering she’s a storyteller, it’s amazing to me how she seems to completely misunderstand the subtleties of storytelling. *insert eye roll*

Sorry, J.K. is just really wearing out her welcome with me.

    Good luck next week! 8-)

  4. I wouldn’t mind a prequel
